WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY
At the RiverRun we take pride in the quality of service we provide
and we hope that pride will constantly shine through. Since
opening in April 2006 many of our customers have offered words
of support and praise, here are some of the latest compliments: |

"It
was excellent, the food fresh and tasty, the service attentive
and efficient. We felt it was well worth the drive out from
Shannon and will do it again. Well done.”

“Lunch
in the River run is an absolute delight, food is cooked fresh
to order and there is no doubting the chef's capabilities. The
menu has something for everybody and the daily specials are
fantastic. Thick delicious fingers of Monkfish wrapped in a
beer batter that just melted on the tongue, served with a crisp
well dressed salad for the amazing price of €9.50......
an absoulte bargin!! Dessert of course was just sinful and was
"almost" calorie free!!
The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and the atmosphere
is one which encourages you to sit back and savour your visit
to the Run Run. A "must see" when in the Killaloe/Ballina
area.”

“The RiverRun
is 100% better than any other Restaurant around Ballina/Killaloe,
while the food is haute cuisine the Irish customer enjoys the
taste experience and the portions, which is a rare combination.”

SO
THERE we were in Killaloe, and Crona and Phil brought us to
a delightful little eatery – they call it a bistro –
called the Riverrun. The chef is a young man named Martin Landy.
We had a lovely meal in most pleasant bright, airy surroundings,
and it looks like he’s getting a lorra support from the
locals. Well deserved, for we all decide that this was food
preparation of a high order. And this is in addition to the
Cherry Tree restaurant which we’d visited previously,
and is very much a haute cuisine dining experience. So ain’t
they lucky down that part of the country! |

“We
toured all over Ireland before the Ryder Cup started and this
is the best food we had, it’s our last night in Ireland
so we’ll have to come back! Thank you for your hospitality.”

especially were a resounding success!”

isn’t a restaurant as good as this in all of Edinburgh.”
